The Kansas City Chiefs know they need to get some reinforcements on the offensive end. They've been slammed with injuries to multiple weapons that include Marquise Brown, Isiah Pacheco, and Rashee Rice.

The Chiefs need more firepower offensively, even if they potentially get Rice back at some point this season.

There have been rumors that Kansas City has begun reaching out to teams around the league but ESPN's Adam Schefter named an All-Pro receiver as someone the Chiefs could look at.

Chiefs News: DeAndre Hopkins Could Be a Name To Watch

Schefter added that the Chiefs looked to sign receiver DeAndre Hopkins in the 2023 offseason before he signed with the Tennessee Titans. He signed a two-year, $26 million deal with the Titans but could be available if they continue to lose games.

"Now that Hopkins is in the last year of his contract, the Titans might be enticed to entertain offers for their veteran wide receiver."

The Titans are currently 1-3 but if they continue to pile up losses, they could start taking calls on the 32-year-old.

If that does happen, the Chiefs should pounce on that opportunity. Hopkins is someone who can win all over the field and still has the physicality to bring down contested catches.

In his career, Hopkins has 938 receptions (1,522 targets) for 12,476 yards and 79 touchdowns. Last season, he notched 75 catches with 1,057 yards and seven scores. He still has juice in the tank and would immediately elevate Kansas City's offense.

With one year left on his deal, he would be the perfect one-year rental as Kansas City looks to secure their third straight Super Bowl.
