6 Kansas City Chiefs on Thin Ice Following OTAs

4. Skyy Moore, Wide Receiver
The only saving grace for Skyy Moore would have been the lingering suspension of Rashee Rice. With reports suggesting he will miss time this year due to his off-field actions, the Chiefs might not be willing to part with wideouts who have NFL experience.
That's no longer enough to save Moore, however, since Kansas City recently re-signed Mecole Hardman. The veteran wideout never recaptured the magic he had during his first three seasons with the Chiefs but he was a Super Bowl hero last year. Hardman was on the receiving end of the game-winning touchdown from Patrick Mahomes.
Moore was a second-round pick in 2022 out of Western Michigan. He was added to fill a void left by Tyreek Hill and while he never was supposed to replace his production completely, they expected him to be able to put up better numbers than he has.
In two seasons, the 5-foot-10, 195-pounder has 43 receptions for 494 yards with one touchdown. Even this past season when Hardman initially left for the New York Jets, Hardman didn't see an uptick in his production.
Now in his third season, Moore is going to have to stand out during camp in order to make this team. He no longer has an east path to the 53-man roster with the addition of Xavier Worthy and Marquise Brown. Throw in the return of Hardman and the presence of Justin Watson and Moore could fall all the way to No. 6 on the depth chart.
