2. WR Richie James

James has just one catch this year after signing a one-year deal with the Chiefs in the offseason. He's been on on the Injured Reserve List but has already missed the required four games, so he could be designated to return at any point.

That being said, his skill set is redundant now that Kansas City brought Mecole Hardman back to the organization. James started the season as the Chiefs' de facto return specialist with the ability to catch some passes, but our wide receiver room is littered with players that fit that profile.

He's still a dependable target when healthy, amassing 569 yards on 57 catches with the Giants last season. There should be a market for James as a result, particularly from teams that need help in the return game.

It remains to be seen what happens following Justyn Ross' arrest, but with Justin Watson's return imminent alongside the addition of Hardman, the Chiefs have more receivers than they need.

For a flyer on a player that's showed an ability to contribute, Veach should have no issue finding a new home for James.
