4. Carson Steele - RB

After Isiah Pacheco's scary injury on the final drive of the game, Carson Steele might suddenly become one of the Chiefs' most important players. He fumbled on a crucial drive in the game, drawing concerns about his ability to handle a large workload.

The undrafted rookie's talent is obvious, and it's clear the coaching staff trusts him. Steele carried the ball seven times for 24 yards against the Bengals, converting a critical fourth-and-short early. It might be him and Samaje Perine handling the workload while Pacheco is on the shelf, so he'll get a quick crash course on being an NFL running back.

Already a beloved player on the team, Steele has tremendous talent and represents the type of physical back that fans love to root for. However, he has to hold onto the football to be trusted in critical moments.

His fumble didn't ultimately matter, and Steele showed enough to earn more carries in Week 3 and beyond. He's a quality running back and another example of Brett Veach's ability to find diamonds in the rough.

Steele can't turn it over though. He knows that and will commit to ball security against the Falcons. If he can avoid turnovers, you'll likely see a lot of Steele jerseys popping up all around Kansas City.
