3 Top Prospects Who Could Surprisingly Fall to the Chiefs at No. 32
2. OL Graham Barton, Duke
If the Chiefs are focused on adding to their offensive line in Round 1, they likely won't hesitate to draft Graham Barton if he falls to them at No. 32.
Barton might not be as big as Mims, but he's still an athletically versatile blocker who can play wherever head coach Andy Reid needs him. The Duke prospect began his college career as a center but transitioned over to left tackle in 2021 before going on to only surrendered 27 hurries, 10 sacks, and four QB hits across over 1,000 passing snaps throughout the last three years.
Scouts and draft experts project Barton as being able to play any of the five O-line positions with ease. In fact, if he was a pure guard, his 9.99 relative athletic score would be the third-highest mark at the position over the last 37 years, highlighting just how promising his outlook appears.
Much like Mims, it's hard to project where Barton will land given the wealth of offensive linemen in the 2024 class. If the Chiefs are lucky, other teams will pass over the 21-year-old in favor of other options, allowing Kansas City to add another premiere blocker to its ranks.
