Speaking of players demanding contract extensions, have a day Chris Jones!

I've operated under the belief that the Chiefs should move on from Jones this offseason, thanks in large part to George Karlaftis' breakout, but games like last night make that take sound quite foolish.

Jones was an absolute monster against the Eagles, wracking up five tackles (four for a loss), two sacks and two more QB hits as he harassed Jalen Hurts all night long.

He was the best player on the field, instrumental in holding the Eages' vaunted offense to just 21 points. With 7.5 sacks on the season, Jones is well on his way to earning his bonuses and much, much more with a new contract.

Whether the Chiefs are the team to sign that contract or not remains to be seen, but Jones' impact is obvious.

I don't know if it's possible for the Chiefs to extend Jones given their cap situation. In the meantime, I'm going to enjoy every last second of Chris Jones in that Chiefs' red.

The offense had plenty of problems yesterday. However, there's one player I cherish watching run rampant in Chiefs red as well that needs to be highlighted.
