3. Chamarri Conner - S
Conner wasn't expected to serve a pivotal role in the defense this year, but he's been thrust into one now following Bryan Cook's injury.
With Justin Reid banged up as well, Conner will be one of the most important defensive players this week against a capable Bills offense.
Lol Spagz wasn't kidding about his Chamarri Conner usage... Going to have fun with this chess piece!

It may not bode well for this specific matchup, though getting Conner time now should give the defense a boost long-term. Kansas City's fourth-round pick this year, Conner profiles similarly to L'Jarius Sneed and gives Steve Spagnuolo another weapon to generate exotic blitzes with.
Conner has excellent size and raw ability, but has given up a passer rating of 118.7 when he's been targeted this season. If he can't improve in coverage, the Chiefs will have to generate more pass rush to offset the weakness.
He'll need to adjust quickly to his new snap count, because Kansas City doesn't have time for him to get comfortable. I have faith in Conner, yet his spot on thin ice is warranted due to the heightened expectations now on his shoulders.
