It's the holiday season and we're feeling the Christmas spirit as the Chiefs sit atop the AFC West with a chance to clinch their eighth consecutive division title.

With a 9-5 record, the Chiefs have many players deserving of praise, though it's been a confounding offensive season and some players are getting coal for Christmas.

Here are three Chiefs on the nice list and two on the naughty list as we approach the holiday weekend.

3 Chiefs on the Nice List (& 2 on the Naughty List)

1. Rashee Rice - Nice List

It's been a spectacular year for Rice, as he's taken over as the Chiefs' No. 1 receiver in the midst of one of the best rookie wide receiver seasons in history. He's been that good.

He's got 68 catches for 754 yards and 7 TDs so far, with a legitimate chance to break 1,000 yards. Rice saw at least nine targets each of the last four weeks, as he's become Patrick Mahomes' most trusted target in that span.

It looks like Brett Veach found Kansas City a bonafide star. If the Chiefs return to the Super Bowl for the fourth time in five seasons, Rice's emergence will be a huge reason why.

I hope Rice gets everything he wants in his stocking. He's become my favorite young player on the team and it'll be a joy to watch him develop.
