The Chiefs return from their bye week as favorites to win the AFC, though they'll face several stiff tests with a difficult second-half schedule.

We'll have plenty of Chiefs vs. Eagles coverage in anticipation of the Super Bowl rematch on Monday Night Football in Week 11, but let's take a larger look at the remaining games first.

Here are three bold predictions for the Chiefs as they attempt to win their third Super Bowl of the last four years:

3 Bold Chiefs Predictions for the Rest of the 2023 Season

1. Travis Kelce and Rashee Rice BOTH Finish With 1,000+ Receiving Yards

Kelce appears well on his way to his eighth consecutive season with at least 1,000 yards, pacing for 1,194 while handily leading the Chiefs in receiving yards. I see no reason to expect Patrick Mahomes' favorite target to slow down.

The bold part of this comes in the emergence of a new favorite target for Mahomes, the rookie second-round draft pick sweeping the nation.

Rice is only on pace for 714 yards, but I think he's in for a MASSIVE rest of the campaign. He jumps off the screen every time he's involved and we've seen his snap count steadily rise to a season-high 68% against the Dolphins.

Getting to 1,000 yards would require a big jump. Rice needs 622 yards, so he'd have to average just over 77 yards per game in the remaining eight weeks. I think he's up to the task.

This catch was a great sign for Rice moving forward. He leads all qualified receivers in drop rate (12.2%), though that wasn't a concern of his coming out of college. With a larger sample size, Rice's drop problem will decrease and he'll earn more of Mahomes' trust.

Rice only has more than five targets in two games this season. Considering he leads all receivers in yards after catch per reception (8.2), Rice should be a focal point of the offense.

By the end of the season, we'll all be wanting #4 jerseys for Christmas.

Kelce and Rice aren't the only pair of Chiefs that'll deserve praise, as you'll find out on the next page.

2. L'Jarius Sneed and Trent McDuffie BOTH Named NFL All-Pro Cornerbacks

What Sneed and McDuffie are doing this season is nothing short of spectacular.

They've joined forces to give the Chiefs the best secondary in the NFL, smothering star wide receivers every week as Kansas City ranks second in opponent points per game (15.9).

It's difficult to pick just one to honor, so I think the NFL voters will give them both an All-Pro nod. They're both deserving of first team honors, and their complementary skillset allows Steve Spagnuolo to deploy them in a variety of ways.

Sneed is allowing a 50% completion percentage with six deflected passes, three QB hits and three pressures with the fourth-most tackles on the Chiefs (41).

McDuffie, meanwhile is second in tackles (51) with five quarterback hits, six pressures, four forced fumbles, and one legendary play that'll live on forever in Chiefs' lore.

I gave McDuffie the nod as my midseason MVP, but there's a compelling case for Sneed too.

The Chiefs' defense has no weakness, which allows these star corners to fly all over the field and focus on their strengths. Opponents should be terrified of the Chiefs and the All-Pro voters will rightly decorate the defense with Kansas City players.

These stars aren't the only Chiefs defenders who will produce big numbers and I've got a stat prediction on the final page.

3. Three Different Chiefs' Pass-Rushers Will Have 10+ Sacks

Don't look now, but George Karlaftis (6), Chris Jones (5.5), and Mike Danna (5.5) all have a legitimate shot at reaching double-sigit sacks. With how well this defense is playing, I'm betting the trio gets there.

George Karlaftis has rapidly become one of the best pass-rushers in the NFL, joining forces with Jones to create one of the league's most formidable defensive lines. That being said, don't overlook the fantastic year Danna is having.

Danna is a free agent next year and he's making a compelling case to stick around. He's recorded at least a half-sack in six of the Chiefs' nine games, playing the most snaps of any defensive end on the team.

With Charles Omenihu back in the fold, the Chiefs have a rotating crew of game-wreckers that'll exhaust offensive lines and pile up sacks.

Kansas City has 18 sacks over the last four games. That's 4.5 sacks per contest, a mark that would lead the NFL by a wide margin.

There will be plenty of opportunities for Karlaftis, Jones and Danna. We're witnessing a historic season and this trio will keep adding to the record books.
