The Chiefs pulled off a comeback win over the Raiders on Sunday afternoon, erasing a 14-point deficit in a fashion reminiscent of the early Patrick Mahomes-led teams.

Kansas City's defense smothered the Raiders after the first two drives, while Mahomes and the offense put up 31 points, seemingly in the blink of an eye.

There's a lot of praise to spread around, but three players stood above the rest.

Here are the three biggest heroes from the Chiefs' 31-17 victory:

3 Biggest Heroes from Chiefs' Thrilling Win vs. Raiders

1. Rashee Rice - WR

Who else could it be?

The man they call "Rasheesh" had his coming out party on Sunday, posting career-highs with eight catches for 107 yards and a TD, emerging as a focal point of an offense in need of an identity.

Rice was the story of the game on Sunday, especially after his magnificent 39-yard score, and should continue to see his opportunities increase over the rest of the season.

It's hard to overstate how important Rice's breakout was. If this offense can reach the heights we've seen in past years, Rice needs to be a huge part of it.

He's second among all wide receivers in average yards after catch per reception (8.2) with an average depth of target just under 5.0. Patrick Mahomes has a 128.2 passer rating when targeting Rice, and we can only hope the sample size grows larger now that Kansas City knows it has a true star at the position.

Rice isn't the only offensive player becoming a core part of the team's identity, as you'll see on the next page.
