The Kansas City Chiefs have an AFC showdown against the Cleveland Browns in Week 15. The Chiefs are on a three-game win streak but have narrowly escaped with wins over the last couple of weeks.

The Chiefs have won the past three games by a combined seven points. They are seeking to keep the wins coming but on Wednesday, a new arrival in town missed practice.

Chiefs News: D.J. Humphries Isn’t Practicing on Wednesday

When speaking to reporters on Wednesday, Reid revealed that OT D.J. Humphries won't be participating in practice due to a hamstring injury.

Humphries made his debut in Week 14 against the Los Angeles Chargers but hurt his hamstring in the fourth quarter. That forced Wanya Morris to pop off the bench and finish out the contest.

The Chiefs brought Humphries in on Nov. 26, as they looked to solidify the tackle position after the inconsistent play from Morris and Kingsley Suamataia.

While it was only one game, the 30-year-old didn't play the best in his Chiefs debut. He played in 60 total snaps, finishing with a 52.3 overall grade, with five pressures allowed. Humphries also gave up two hits, two pressures, and one sack.

He had to rehab his way from a torn ACL this offseason after he suffered that injury last December with the Arizona Cardinals. Humphries still needs to get his legs under them, but having this injury pop isn't ideal. Before the playoffs begin, he needs to play and be comfortable on the field again.

The reason he was brought in was to keep Patrick Mahomes upright. Morris couldn't do that consistently in 2024, allowing ten penalties, seven hits, and five sacks.

The Chiefs know their tackle play hasn't been good enough but as we approach Week 15, they have yet question mark going into the game.
