The Kansas City Chiefs have been hit with a lot of bumps in the road this season but have found ways to weather the storm. That's what championship organizations do, and the Chiefs have won no matter what.

We are entering Week 15, and the Chiefs are tied for the best record in the NFL at 12-1. Kansas City is going to square off against the Cleveland Browns on Sunday but a report emerged on Friday, painting a gloomy outlook on the future of Joshua Uche.

Chiefs Rumors: Joshua Uche’s Time in KC is Reportedly Over

The Athletic's Nate Taylor was on 96.5 The Fan on Friday, where he revealed that he would be stunned if he saw Uche in a Chiefs uniform again.

That is a surprising development, as the Chiefs traded a 2026 sixth-round pick to the New England Patriots for Uche back in October. The Michigan product has played in six games for the Chiefs but hasn't played in more than 20% of team snaps.

In five games with Kansas City, he logged two tackles but secured zero sacks. In the win over the Los Angeles Chargers in Week 14, Uche was a healthy scratch, which was a red flag.

Kansas City brought him in to add more juice to the pass rush, but things haven't worked out well. The Chiefs are currently tied for 29th in the league in team sacks (27). This defense doesn't have any players with more than five sacks on the season.

Uche has shown the ability to generate pressure in the NFL (20.5 career sacks), but it appears things behind the scenes have gone sour. Kansas City gets production out of most players who step foot there.

That doesn't sound like the case with Uche, and the trade looks like a wash. Not every dart throw works out in your favor and this is one of those instances.
