The Kansas City Chiefs and the Buffalo Bills are set to play in the AFC Championship Game on Sunday. The Chiefs are playing in their seventh straight AFC Championship and are chasing their third straight Super Bowl title.

No team has ever pulled off that feat, and the Chiefs are chasing history. While that has been the sole focus, safety Justin Reid announced some major news in his personal life.

Per Rob Collins, Reid revealed that his daughter was born last weekend.

Chiefs News: Justin Reid’s Daughter Was Born Last Weekend

Just two days after Patrick and Brittany Mahomes welcomed their third child, Golden Raye, into the world, Reid and his family welcomed their daughter.

Reid and his girlfriend, Marissa Rand, have been together since 2022. Back in October 2024, against the New Orleans Saints, Rand made a sign saying, "Justin I'm pregnant" to break the news.

Reid said, "It was a busy weekend for me -I had my baby girl which was the highlight - even better than the divisional win! I got to go to the birth center, I saw her being born and didn’t feel anything but love and so much happiness holding her.”

The Stanford product inked a three-year, $31.5 million deal with the Chiefs in 2022 and has been a stable defender in the backend. Over 49 games with the Chiefs, Reid has supplied 265 total tackles, 12 TFLs, 11 QB hits, 23 pass breakups, and three interceptions.

He's even stepped in as a kicker a couple of times during his Chiefs tenure. The 27-year-old is set to hit free agency after the season but looks to secure another title before that happens. We'll have to see if both sides come to a new deal this offseason but right now, it's all about the task at hand. And that's beating the Bills.

When he steps away from football, he can go home and see his beautiful baby girl and that's amazing. Congrats to Justin and Marissa on the birth of their daughter.
