The Kansas City Chiefs know that everyone in the NFL is trying to catch up to them. They've won the Super Bowl in each of the past two seasons and are seeking to win an unprecedented third one in a row.

Although the Chiefs are 7-0, they have been hit with multiple injuries across the roster. That led to the team making multiple trades. Last week, Kansas City acquired DeAndre Hopkins from the Tennessee Titans. That provided them with a veteran playmaker and it was much needed.

They continued to make moves, trading for EDGE Josh Uche on Monday to bolster their defensive front.

Instead of staying content with their roster, the Chiefs may not be done making trades ahead of the Nov. 5 trade deadline.

Chiefs Rumors: Kansas City Looking at Corners on Trade Market

According to ESPN's Jeremy Fowler, Kansas City is looking at the cornerback market after Jaylen Watson broke his fibula and tibia.

With Watson out for the year, the Chiefs need more help at corner and will gauge the trade market.

"The Super Bowl champion Chiefs have been aggressive on the trade market, and they might not be done. Kansas City addressed two needs with trades for wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins and pass rusher Joshua Uche in back-to-back weeks. But cornerback remains a need after Jaylen Watson went down for the season, and the belief is that Kansas City is at least monitoring that market close to the deadline. The Chiefs are not pressed to make a move but will be open to it, and their 2025 draft haul is still in good shape after acquiring a third-round pick in the L'Jarius Sneed trade. "

While Fowler didn't name any potential trade candidates, it makes sense that Kansas City will look at options in the secondary.

Nazeeh Johnson took over for Watson in Week 8 against the Las Vegas Raiders but is dealing with a concussion. Injuries are bound to happen in the NFL, so being prepared is key. Kansas City always takes that approach and it appears they are looking to do that again.
