The Chiefs are set to take on the Steelers on Christmas Day next week with an opportunity to seal the No. 1 seed in the AFC and just released their first injury report following the victory over the Texans.

There aren't any big surprises, though concerns remain for the Kansas City faithful. A win over Pittsburgh would cement Kansas City's No. 1 seed in the AFC. Barring disaster, the Chiefs will have a first-round bye and home-field advantage throughout the playoffs.

The only goal is winning a third straight Super Bowl. Nothing else matters, and you can see that proven by the team's actions in recent weeks.

There aren't any real surprises here. D.J. Humphries has been out of the action since he was signed, forcing Joe Thuney to play left tackle and Mike Caliendo to play left guard.

Following Jawaan Taylor's injury, it looks like Wanya Morris may play right tackle on Christmas Day against the Steelers. No one wanted that scenario to come to fruition, though it appears to be the most likely outcome.

Chris Jones is expected to be fine ultimately. Chamarri Conner's absence led to increased snaps for Joshua Williams and Nazeeh Johnson. While things worked out in the end, it's still a precarious situatiuon for Kansas City's secondary, suddenly relying on unproven players during the most impotant moments of the season.

It's unclear who will suit up and who will sit on Wednesday, yet it's clear that the Chiefs still have significant issues to deal with moving forward. One more win seals the No. 1 seed in the AFC, but Kansas City's injuries put the team in a poor position.

Here's hoping these guys can play in Week 17. Otherwise, the Chiefs will be at a large disadvantage against one of the NFL's best defenses.
