The Chiefs are officially flipping the switch.

Kansas City dominated the Houston Texans in a 27-19 win that wasn't as close as the final score suggested. It's technically another one-score win, the likes of which national media has attacked the Chiefs for while simultaneously ignoring the fact that a lot of these contests were never in doubt.

Aside from how foolish so many analysts look, this game centered around the exciting breakout of rookie WR Xavier Worthy. It was the best game of his young career, as we predicted, and the Chiefs' offense appears to be one fully capable of winning a third consecutive Super Bowl.

Chiefs Prove They're NFL's Best Team in Dominant Texans Win

Worthy caught seven of his 11 targets for 65 yards and a TD, making it consecutive weeks in which he was targeted 11 times. His impact was felt early, catching a swing pass on the first offensive play of the game.

It's obvious that the coaching staff wants to unleash Worthy in the second half of the season, similar to how Rashee Rice's breakout came after Week 11 of 2023. Based on this game, it appears to be a successful experiment.

Kareem Hunt Might Have Stolen Isiah Pacheco's Job

Kareem Hunt might've just stolen the starting running back job from Isiah Pacheco. Hunt was the featured back in the fourth quarter following Pacheco's struggles in short-yardage situations.

He garnered 11 carries for 55 yards and a TD with two catches for 24 yards, helping seal the contest late. Pacheco was stuffed on two key moments, and fans are wondering if the beloved back has a future with the team given Hunt's success.

The coaching staff realized that Hunt was performing better and acted accordingly. Will the front office extend Hunt with Pacheco coming up on a contract year? It's clear that the team can generate offense from the position without paying much, so why would Pacheco stick around after 2025?

These are the questions Brett Veach has to determine the answers to. For now, Kansas City is one win away from sealing the No. 1 seed in the AFC.

This was one of their best performances of the season across the board. The Chiefs are the most dominant team in the NFL and no game proved that point better than this one.

Merry Christmas ya filthy animals.
