The Chiefs remained undefeated with a dominant 28-18 win over the 49ers in Week 7. Suddenly, there doesn't seem to be a team capable of challenging Kansas City, yet one criticized player remains the focal point of most fans' frustration.

Third-year WR Skyy Moore dropped yet another pass on Sunday. He played only a handful of snaps yet stuck out in the worst way when on the field. After his latest mistake, it's time for the organization to part ways and elevate a more promising player from the practice squad.

Both Nikko Remigio and Justyn Ross are desperate for another opportunity. At the very least, neither can be worse than Moore has been thus far. If the Chiefs are serious about a three-peat, it's time to make a change.

Chiefs Must Promote Nikko Remigio or Justyn Ross Over Skyy Moore

It's been confusing for Chiefs fans hoping to see a spark from the offense. Moore has zero catches through six games with two drops and a muffed punt. If now isn't the time to give Remigio or Ross a shot, will there ever be a time?

The trade deadline is just two weeks away and Kansas City needs to upgrade its receiver room. Should JuJu Smith-Schuster's injury persist, that only increases the need to bring in a talented veteran.

Moore has been given ample opportunities to make an impact. He needs a fresh start as badly as the Chiefs need some juice at the position. Patrick Mahomes has a 39.6 passer rating when targeting Moore, the same as if he just spiked the football into the ground on every possession.

Kansas City's 2022 second-round pick still has talent. It's just become obvious that he needs to go elsewhere to reach his potential. Fans are fed up with his mistakes and it has to be difficult for Moore as well.

Remigio and Ross both have shown enough throughout previous training camps and practices that it's worth it to see if they can produce. This is the best team in football with an obvious weak link - why not commit to fixing it?
