The Kansas City Chiefs came the closest they have been to their first loss of the season on Sunday. The Denver Broncos were a 35-yard field goal away from winning their first game in Kansas City since 2015. However, the Chiefs are finding new ways to win each week to keep their streak alive.

The hero of the moment was Leo Chenal who blocked Will Lutz's walk-off field goal attempt to carry the Chiefs to their 15th straight win dating back to last season.

Chenal received all the praise he could handle in the locker room afterward. Even famously stoic Andy Reid couldn't contain his excitement about the young linebacker's play. He celebrated Chenal in a way only he could.

When he first started his speech, Reid didn't even know who made the block on that last play. He obviously hadn't had a chance to watch the replay before heading down to the locker room. When he received the confirmation that it was Chenal, he called him a "Superman."

After thanking the team for sticking with it and telling them to get ready for a tough matchup against the Bills, the Chiefs head coach promised Chenal that he would treat him to a cheeseburger.

"I'm proud of you guys for just hanging with it. Leo, I'll treat you to a cheeseburger. "

Chiefs HC Andy Reid

The Chiefs under Andy Reid, have been excellent at finding different ways to win and creating new heroes. Even with a lack of offensive depth and a slow start from Patrick Mahomes, the Chiefs can count on their role players to step up and secure the win.
