The AFC Championship is fast approaching as the Kansas City Chiefs are set to host the Buffalo Bills on Sunday for the right to make the Super Bowl. While the Chiefs have things to clean up, they're the more experienced team in these moments and are confident in themselves.

That confidence is well-earned, especially when you look at the finer points of the matchup. This is the healthiest Kansas City has been all year, particularly on the defensive end. Buffalo is dealing with a handful of injuries but outside of WR Rashee Rice, who has been out since Week 4, the Chiefs entered the week in relatively good shape.

Making it through practice unscathed was a priority and according to head coach Andy Reid's Wednesday comments, the latest injury update should be music to fans' ears.

Andy Reid Announces All Chiefs Will Practice on Wednesday Before Bills Game

It may sound like not much news to report that no one is hurt, but given how many injuries Kansas City has dealt with in the 2024-25 campaign, this is a relief. Throw in the fact that the Bills are dealing with a surprise ailment to standout LB Matt Milano and it's clear that the Chiefs are healthier overall.

CB Jaylen Watson and DE Charles Omenihu just played their first game together in a dominant effort against the Houston Texans. The offensive line is set and growing more comfortable despite some issues, Hollywood Brown is on the field running routes, and Isiah Pacheco forms a perfect duo with Kareem Hunt in the backfield.

Buffalo knows that they have no margin for error on Sunday. Josh Allen is 0-3 against Patrick Mahomes in the postseason. This might be the Bills' best chance to slay the dragon, yet injuries play a big factor in the specific individual matchups.

The Chiefs are 1.5-point favorites over the Bills with -126 odds on the moneyline at FanDuel Sportsbook, implying a 53.7% chance of winning. It'll be a close game likely regardless but fans have to feel good about these injury reports.
