2. Justin Watson, WR

Remember when Justin Watson looked like he was finally putting things together last season? The veteran wideout's first season with the Chiefs was his best as a professional player as he set new personal bests in receptions (27), yards (460), and touchdown catches (3) en route to winning the third Super Bowl ring of his career.

With fellow WRs Rashee Rice and Marquise Brown missing time early this season, Chiefs fans were hoping that Watson would step up in their absence. Instead, the ex-Pennsylvania playmaker has done anything but that.

In the first half of the 2024 campaign, Watson only has 13 receptions for 171 yards without a touchdown in eight games. If that wasn't bad enough, he's only hit the 40-yard mark once this season despite achieving the feat seven times last year.

The last two games suggest that the Chiefs are trying to get Watson more involved in the passing game, however, it remains to be seen just how long that trend will last. If he can't take advantage of his opportunities, it's going to be hard for him to convince general manager Brett Veach to bring him back as a free agent in the offseason.
