The Chiefs are the AFC's only undefeated team coming out of their early Week 6 bye. Despite offensive inconsistency, this is still the NFL's best roster, supported by an elite defense with Patrick Mahomes, Travis Kelce and a resurgent Kareem Hunt leading the offense.

That doesn't mean everything is perfect. Four of the five wins came by one score and with Rashee Rice out for the year, the team is without a rising star. Unheralded players will be relied on and if any more injuries happen, things could get messy quickly.

Some players have struggled when giving the opportunity so far. Let's look at a handful of Chiefs on thin ice coming out of the bye week.

1. Skyy Moore - WR

It certainly feels like Skyy Moore's time with the organization is dwindling to a close. He played only 7% of the snaps in Week 5 and doesn't have a catch on the season. His only real contributions were muffing a punt and dropping an open pass on third down, drawing the ire of Brett Veach in the process.

The 2022 second-round pick has been one of the bigger Chiefs' draft busts in recent memory and it feels like a fresh start elsewhere would be best for both parties. Even still, Andy Reid frequently praises the young wideout and there's a reason he was a highly-coveted prospect in the first place.

That unique ability to separate and make tough catches just hasn't translated to the NFL. Moore doesn't have Patrick Mahomes' trust and he's now fifth in the pecking order behind JuJu Smith-Schuster, Xavier Worthy, Justin Watson, and Mecole Hardman.

Should the Chiefs make a trade for a receiver before the deadline like many expect, Moore will fall even further out of favor.

He may get one or two more chances to make a play ahead of the trade deadline. If he doesn't take advantage of the moment, he'll be buried on the bottom of the depth chart.
