4 Chiefs Playing Their Last Regular Season Game at Arrowhead This Weekend

Barring any unexpected offseason developments, these four Kansas City Chiefs players are likely playing their final regular season home game at Arrowhead Stadium in Week 16.

2. Justin Watson, WR

Justin Watson is another Chief who's set to become a free agent in the offseason. Barring a major uptick in production down the stretch, it's hard to imagine his returning to Kansas City next season.

Watson, 29, has seen his production drop off a cliff compared to the career year he had in 2023. The veteran pass-catcher has only recorded 19 catches for 224 yards and a touchdown through 14 games, which is fairly disappointing after last season's personal-best 27-460-3 stat line in 16 outings.

It'd be one thing if Watson was at least showing promise on the gridiron, however, that's been far from the case. The former Pennsylvania playmaker's production has only worsened with each passing week, proven by his having just two catches on six targets for 21 yards and a score in his last four games.

In fact, he failed to register a single catch in each of his last two outings.

Watson's performance is even more abysmal after revealing that his 50.8 receiving grade is the fifth-worst mark among 121 eligible wideouts on Pro Football Focus.

With five Chiefs wideouts hitting free agency this offseason, a major overhaul to the WR room is likely looming. Unless some improvements are shown, it's unlikely that Watson will survive the changes.
