Is Antonio Brown a fit for the KC Chiefs?

The Chiefs have struggled to find a legitimate WR2 option to pair with Tyreek Hill. They’ve tried too, attempting to bring in JuJu Smith-Schuster and Josh Reynolds, but ultimately settling for Demarcus Robinson.

Robinson is what he is at this stage of his career and the Chiefs need to look into bringing someone else on board. That being said, Antonio Brown isn’t really the name that should be discussed as far as the Chiefs go.

Brown was once a top wide receiver in the NFL, but legal issues led to his dismissal from the league. He signed with the Buccaneers last season and was fine, but Brown just isn’t worth the headache.

Is Brown a fit for the Chiefs? Position-wise, yes, but this team doesn’t need any drama, and Brown is someone who brings drama and theatrics wherever he goes.

Pass.

Is Jadeveon Clowney a fit for the KC Chiefs?

It’s wild to think that Jadeveon Clowney is a former No. 1 overall pick, but that shows how not-so-great the 2014 NFL Draft class was. The Texans took Clowney with the top pick and while he improved near the end of his rookie contract, he’s spent the last three years with three different teams. That’s never a great sign.

Clowney started eight games last year for the Titans and recorded zero sacks for the first time since his rookie season. He’s just two years removed from a nine-sack season and he’s only 28 years old. There’s still hope that Clowney could turn into the pass-rushing force he was advertised as, but do the Chiefs want to find out if that’ll come to fruition?

The Chiefs definitely need help with their pass-rush, but the draft might be a better place to find it. That being said, Clowney would be a fit for the Chiefs. He’d fill an area of concern and pairing him with Frank Clark and Chris Jones could be a lot of fun.

This would be an intriguing acquisition if it happened, but it’s hard to ignore the red flags with Clowney.
