KC Chiefs: Way too early list of offensive linemen to target in 2021
Offensive Linemen for KC Chiefs to Target: Alejandro Villanueva
While Alejandro Villanueva is probably going to be too expensive for the Chiefs, he’d be an ideal fit for them at left tackle. Villanueva played his college ball at Army and went undrafted, but turned into quite a talented player for the Steelers over the past five years.

During that time, Villanueva started all 16 regular-season games and that right there is what makes him intriguing. The Chiefs have issues keeping their offensive line healthy and Villanueva is the best in the biz at it.
Then again, Schwartz was the same way too and his streak of consecutive starts ended this past season. Villanueva is 32 years old (he turns 33 in September), but probably can get one more big contract. The question is: Could the Chiefs afford to sign the former Army standout?
Offensive Linemen for KC Chiefs to Target: Mike Remmers
The Chiefs are losing several offensive linemen this offseason and Mike Remmers is one of the main ones. He was signed last offseason as a depth piece for the o-line and he ended up starting at left tackle in the Super Bowl.
Prior to that, Remmers had played mostly at right tackle, filling in for Schwartz after he exited the game with a back injury and missed the rest of the season. Remmers held his own on the right side and having someone who can be plugged in just about anywhere along the offensive line is a valuable player. Getting Remmers back should be a top priority for Brett Veach and the Chiefs.
