Wide Receivers for KC Chiefs to Target in Free Agency: Josh Reynolds

In 2017, the Rams drafted Josh Reynolds out of Texas A&M in the fourth round and he ended up being a pretty good pick for them. Reynolds had a career year in 2020, catching 52 passes for 618 yards and two touchdowns in his expanded role with the Rams and now he’ll enter free agency at the best possible time.

The Rams would be foolish to let Reynolds get away without trying to re-sign him, but if he somehow does become available, he’d be a great addition to this Chiefs offense. He’d be their WR2 (likely jumping past Hardman on the depth chart) and could be a really great weapon for Mahomes to have.

Reynolds probably will be a popular name in free agency and while I’d love to see the Chiefs ink him to a deal, my guess is he stays in Los Angeles. Coming to Kansas City might give him a better quarterback, but it’s not like the Rams are slouches.

The Kansas City Chiefs need to find wide receivers who can make plays. They have Tyreek Hill, but until they get more weapons, the Bucs might have shown the blueprint on how to cover Hill and Travis Kelce and we saw how little the rest of the offensive players were able to do.

Time to fix that issue this offseason by bringing in more talent.
