Kansas City Chiefs: Madden simulation for Week 12 vs Buccaneers
What does Madden predict for the Kansas City Chiefs’ matchup with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers?
This weekend’s game between the Kansas City Chiefs and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers should be a good one. It’ll be the fourth meeting between Patrick Mahomes and Tom Brady with Mahomes looking to get his record against the GOAT to .500.
Before we dive into Madden’s prediction for this game, let’s see how the video game did when simulating the Chiefs/Raiders game from last week. Oddly enough, Madden predicted the exact amount of points that the Chiefs ended up scoring but projected the Raiders to be the ones trying to catch up in the final minutes. It accurately predicted that both quarterbacks would play well.
Now let’s dive into what Madden thinks is in store for this weekend’s game pitting the Super Bowl champion Chiefs against the new-look Buccaneers.
Final Score – Chiefs 30, Buccaneers 26

This is a very back and forth game between the two teams with the Chiefs eventually prevailing. Mahomes continues his run to his second MVP title with a four-touchdown game. The run game doesn’t do much, as expected honestly, but Mahomes and the Chiefs air raid attack more than makeup for it.
The Buccaneers mostly eat on the ground in this game, though Evans has a big game through the air. Brady is limited, but still makes plays and makes this a competitive battle. The Chiefs take the lead midway through the fourth quarter despite a back and forth affair and when it comes down to it, the Bucs can’t get the touchdown needed to win the game. Both defenses play okay and when push comes to shove, the Chiefs defense is able to prevent the Bucs from taking the lead with a late Sneed interception to seal the deal.
Chiefs fans probably expect the game to look something like this, so we’ll see if Madden is right on the money here.
