The Kansas City Chiefs still have a few games remaining on their schedule that could be considered as trap games.

When the Kansas City Chiefs fell to the Raiders in Week 5, many considered it as a “trap game” for the defending Super Bowl champs after the fact. The Chiefs typically get tripped up one or two times against teams that they should be, otherwise known as a trap game.

Last year, they suffered losses to the Texans, Colts, Packers, and Titans with two of those games (Colts and Titans) being considered trap games at the time. Whether it’s the Chiefs overlooking their opponents or that team just playing the best they have the entire season, trap games can be frustrating, especially for a team like KC where every win matters and every loss can be detrimental.

While the Chiefs looked much better this past week and got back in the win column, there are some games on the remaining schedule that stand out as potential trap games. Some of these might seem ridiculous to include, but remember – Bad teams can beat up on good teams from time to time.

Here are those three games and why they could be dangerous games for the Chiefs. We’ll look at these games in the order that they appear on the schedule.
