Other Starts and Sits

Honestly from a fantasy perspective, this is a game I would stray away from. Locking in a Thursday Night Football player locks that spot for you all week, and so much can change from Thursday to Sunday that going with uninspired options is probably not the move. So here I am going to post a few players you can be comfortable with and a few to avoid.

Starts:

Darius Slayton, Devonta Freeman, Giants D/ST

These are really the three options that I am comfortable with. The Giants defense is very interesting considering all of the injuries for the Eagles offense at the moment. Slayton can pull out about 20 points on any given week, and Freeman has a good floor baseline of work. Freeman especially can help your team if you need a guaranteed 10 points, even if his ceiling isn’t as a high as a Slayton type player.

Sits: Greg Ward, Boston Scott, Daniel Jones

The bad thing about all of these sits is that they could all very well turn into good starts. Ward has had a few 20 point games, but he has also had a few under five. Jones has a good rushing baseline, but hasn’t turned in a great performance yet this season.

Scott in theory should be a good start with Miles Sanders out, but Sanders missed Week 1 and Scott didn’t even break 10 points. If you are in a pinch, starting one of these players won’t kill. None of them are safe options however, so if you have a healthier pivot, that is what you should do.
