The Kansas City Chiefs got back in the win column with a nine point win over the Buffalo Bills.

The Kansas City Chiefs left Buffalo on Monday evening with a 26-17 win over the Bills as Andy Reid and his players leave their arguably hardest run of games with a 5-1 record. There were a few things to keep an eye on during the game with how the Chiefs would react to the loss against the Raiders being the main one.

Let’s take a look at the main takeaways from the game.

Patrick Mahomes breaks Dan Marino’s record

Patrick Mahomes is undoubtedly on his way to being one of the greatest quarterbacks to play in the NFL. He added another notch to his belt when he became the quickest quarterback to reach 90 career touchdowns after he lobbed the ball to Travis Kelce in the first half against the Bills.

Mahomes completed the feat in just 37 games, three games quicker than previous record holder Dan Marino who did it in 40 games. This is just another stamp of approval on Mahomes, as he looks to lead the Chiefs to back-to-back Super Bowl championships.

The Chiefs quarterback found Kelce twice in the first half, picking up touchdowns No. 12 and 13 for the season. The 25-year-old looks to put himself in the MVP reckoning as he leaves himself just shy of the 1,500 yard mark this season so far.
