49. . Quarterback. Green Bay Packers. Aaron Rodgers. 12. player

Instead of drafting a receiver to give Aaron Rodgers some help, the Green Bay Packers drafted the heir apparent in Jordan Love out of Utah State. Rodgers seems to have taken this as a personal challenge, for he has been a man on a mission to prove that he is still one of the greats, and so far, he is doing just that.

Somehow Rodgers was an afterthought this past offseason and it was perplexing for sure. Even at his worst, Rodgers is still one of the best quarterbacks in the league and his worst day is a day that most average or below average quarterbacks would dream of having. Rodgers looks like he’s playing like he did in the early 2010s again and has the Packers at 4-0 heading into their Week 5 bye.

Over the first quarter of the season, the Packers quarterback has thrown for 1,214 yards, 13 passes, and zero interceptions while completely destroying opponents. While people were sleeping on Rodgers and the Packers this offseason, he was making it his goal to make those people regret doing just that, and he’s succeeding.

Rodgers is the only player out of the three I’m diving into who has previously won an MVP award, winning his last one in 2014. He won his first MVP title in 2011 after leading the Packers to a 15-1 regular season record (the one loss came against the Chiefs in case you had forgotten).
