Week 6 – Kansas City Chiefs at Buffalo Bills (Leigh)

There’s always one game on the schedule every year that scares me more than others and it’s usually the Thursday Night Game, especially when the Chiefs have to play on the road. Fortunately, their Thursday Night Game is early in the season and it won’t be freezing cold in Buffalo when they do travel there, but still – The road team is at a huge disadvantage for Thursday Night Football.

The Bills are going to be a fun team this year too. With the Patriots having an entirely new look and Buffalo proving they can be good (they’ve made it to the playoffs in two of the last three years), the AFC East is going to be a whole new division in 2020.

Buffalo’s defense was incredible last year and they didn’t lose too much talent on that side of the ball. Their defense helped them win games, but the offense got better too, as the Bills traded for Stefon Diggs and now have their unquestioned WR1.

While the Chiefs could definitely go into Orchard Park and win this game, due to it being a Thursday night game on the road and against a team that has proven to be a bit of a thorn in the side of the Chiefs, I’m not feeling too great about this match-up.

Prediction: While it’ll be a close game, the Bills win it in the final seconds by a score of 27-24.

Player to Pop: Mecole Hardman has a few big grabs during the game while also returning a kickoff for a touchdown early on.

RECORD: 4-2
