The KC Chiefs went 12-4 last year and very well could put up a similar record in 2020. Unexpected teams will be looking to put a damper on their plans.

The Kansas City Chiefs are likely going to be favored in most of their games this season, but that doesn’t mean they’re going to go 16-0. It also doesn’t mean that the Chiefs are going to run roughshod over everyone and beat the teams they SHOULD beat.

Last year, the Chiefs lost four regular season games, with those losses coming against the Colts, Texans, Packers, and Titans.

Out of those four losses, the only one fans were really anticipating was the one against Green Bay and that was mostly because Patrick Mahomes missed that game. The other three losses were against teams that were good, but the Chiefs couldn’t overcome their struggles.

As for who the Chiefs play this year, there are some tough games that fans will be confident about, but also wouldn’t be shocked if KC was on the losing end of things. Fans won’t be surprised to see the Chiefs lose to teams like the Saints, the Ravens, or the Bucs this year because those are all away games against really good teams.

On the other hand though, there are plenty of teams on this year’s schedule who fans will expect the Chiefs to beat pretty comfortably, but could find themselves with a loss by the end of the game.

Let’s take a look at three surprise teams who could shock the Kansas City Chiefs in 2020.
