Toughest Defenses in 2020 – Number 4: New Orleans Saints

NFC. New Orleans Saints. Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. 4. player. 15. South

The Chiefs will face the NFC South this year and that means they’ll get to square off against one of the other more consistent teams over the past few years in the New Orleans Saints.

A few years ago, the Saints defense was a laughingstock. They were flat-out awful.

Recently, however, their defense has been on the rise and become one of the best units in the league. Their biggest and brightest stars are Cameron Jordan, DeMario Davis, Marshon Lattimore, Sheldon Rankin, and Marcus Williams with Jordan leading the way defensively.

The Chiefs will head to the Big Easy to play the Saints in week 15 in what more than likely will be an offensive shootout. Even though that looks to be the case, don’t rule out the Saints to make a huge play on defense when they need it most and if they need a late game sack on Mahomes, the offensive line better be ready.
