Fantasy Football: Top 15 defenses/special teams to target in 2020
Fantasy Football Defenses/Special Teams to Target – Number 14: Broncos
If any team is getting overhyped this offseason, it’s easily the Denver Broncos, but their defense does have the look of a good unit in 2020 even with some big losses. The Broncos lost long-time cornerback Chris Harris Jr. to the Chargers and Derek Wolfe headed to Baltimore.
Even with those two no longer on the roster, Denver still has Von Miller and even more, Bradley Chubb will return and be healthy this year. That gives the Broncos one of the deadliest pass rushing duos in the league and sacks are great for fantasy football owners!
If there’s one area where the Broncos defense could improve, it’s on their turnover rate, as they finished the 2019 season ranked fourth worst when it came to takeaways.
The Broncos definitely focused more on offense in the 2020 NFL Draft and they play in a division with the explosive Chiefs, so while their defense will be decent, there are definitely still risks with taking them in fantasy football.
You should be able to select them in the 11th round or so depending on when the run on defenses begins in your draft.
