Who would KC Chiefs remove from each AFC West team?

Los Angeles Chargers – Joey Bosa

The Chargers struck gold when Joey Bosa fell into their laps at pick number three in the 2016 NFL Draft. Since then, he has become their best player and is an all-class talent on the defensive side of the ball.

Bosa won Defensive Rookie of the Year in 2016 after recording ten and a half sacks as a rookie. He’s continued to be a wrecking ball defensively for the Bolts and he’s the best pick for the Chiefs to want to remove from LA’s lineup.

Melvin Ingram could have been another option here, but Bosa is the bigger name, so that’s why he was the pick. Keenan Allen could have also been the choice, but with a new quarterback in town this year, he might not have the same impact for that offense as he has in years past. Even if Philip Rivers had been in LA still, he wasn’t the same player in 2019 so he also wouldn’t have been the choice.

More from Kansas City Chiefs

Joey Bosa makes sense because he’s had double digit sacks in all but one season (and the season where he didn’t he only played in seven games and still totaled five and a half sacks). The dude’s a monster and any time you can reduce the chances of Patrick Mahomes getting hit, you do it.

While this is a fun topic to think about, other AFC West teams would most definitely remove Patrick Mahomes from the Chiefs roster, so let’s be glad this isn’t something that actually exists.

The Kansas City Chiefs are the best team in the AFC West, but removing these players from each of their divisional foes would give the Chiefs even more of an unfair advantage.
