The KC Chiefs really are fortunate to already have such a talented roster headed into 2020.

With the limitations of this offseason and a very limited budget, the team doesn’t have to bring in any more free agents. This ultimately gives them an advantage over most of the other teams in the league who are scrambling to improve through a difficult offseason. Even so, it’ll be intriguing to see if Brett Veach finds a way to continue swinging for the fences.

More from Chiefs Free Agency

With a positive culture and higher chances of success, the Chiefs suddenly have more negotiating power in the free agent market than years past. Hopefully, that creates the ability to sign players on more budget-friendly contracts.

All of these players have a legitimate shot at finding a new home before the summer is over. The only exception might be Antonio Brown, who may have turned enough teams off that he never plays again.

While bringing Brown in would very much be an uphill battle in many ways, the other four on this list wouldn’t be. They could all contribute in some way and may contribute more than expected, given a better opportunity to thrive.

The coming months will be fun to watch as many of the remaining top free agents start coming off of that list. And it’d be great if some of them came to Kansas City.
