KC Chiefs news surrounds how the 2020 NFL regular season schedule was released and the Chiefs have five primetime games.

It’s not shocking to see the reigning Super Bowl champions end up with five primetime games in the following season, but what is a bit surprising is that only two of those five are in the confines of Arrowhead Stadium. The other three – all on the road.

Now, I’ll say this – The Chiefs’ home schedule isn’t exactly against grueling competition. The Patriots would have been the toughest game on that list had they not had a change at quarterback for the first time in 20 years, but now it’s against the Texans and the NFL wisely put that in week one to open up the new league year.

The next primetime game is two weeks later in Baltimore against the Ravens. The Chiefs have gone 2-0 against them the past two years and the Ravens failed to host the AFC title game despite earning the one seed in the playoffs. Baltimore losing paved the way for the Chiefs to host the AFC Championship Game and we all know what happened there.

In week six, the Chiefs travel for primetime yet again, facing the Bills. It’s an intriguing match-up, as the Bills have earned some hype this offseason. Thankfully, this is taking place early in the season because late season games played in Buffalo could be very cold and very snowy.

The final two primetime games are both on Sunday night with one taking place in Las Vegas against the Raiders (week 11) and the other being a HOME game against the Broncos in week 13.

Obviously games can be flexed in and out of primetime later on in the year, but this is the slate for now.

"Even if the season does start on time, it’s unknown if fans will be able to attend games and if that’s the case, the Kansas City Chiefs MUST wait until fans can attend before they raise their Super Bowl LIV banner at Arrowhead Stadium."
