Chiefs news surrounds how the Kansas City Chiefs’ 2020 season schedule has been released! What are the biggest takeaways from this season’s slate of games?

While there’s uncertainty surrounding if the 2020 NFL season will start on time (or when fans will be able to attend games), for now we have a path to Super Bowl LV for the Kansas City Chiefs.

So, let’s jump right into the latest batch of Chiefs news and look at the biggest takeaways from the 2020 regular season schedule.

FIVE PRIMETIME GAMES (FOR NOW)

Obviously the first thing we all look for when the schedule is released is how many primetime games our team has. The Kansas City Chiefs have five games landing in primetime (not counting the late Sunday afternoon games) and those are:

  • Week 1 vs Texans (Sunday Night Football on a Thursday night)
  • Week 3 at Ravens (Monday Night Football)
  • Week 6 at Bills (Thursday Night Football)
  • Week 11 at Raiders (Sunday Night Football)
  • Week 13 vs Broncos (Sunday Night Football)

To be honest, I’m a little disappointed with the games chosen for primetime because out of five primetime match-ups, only two come at home. I mentioned in one of my posts where I predicted the games that the Chiefs didn’t really have a tough slate at home, but still… This is rather disappointing.
