Other Considerations

There are a couple more receiver prospects with dynamic playmaking abilities that could also be worth a look in addition to Cam Phillips. De’Mornay Pierson-El – formerly of Nebraska – of the St. Louis Battlehawks has proven to be an after the catch nightmare and could be an excellent weapon for the Chiefs.

More from Chiefs Free Agency

Rashad Ross is a speedster who came into the XFL season as the leagues highest ranked wide receiver by most, but due to poor quarterback play by Cardale Jones over the past couple of weeks, hasn’t been able to display his abilities who could also be worth a look as a more experienced player.

Lastly, Steven Johnson – the Seattle Dragons linebacker – could be a prospect that could be worth a look for the Chiefs at a position of need. He is leading the league in tackles and was all over the field during week four.

The Kansas City Chiefs may or may not be actually looking at these players, but I am completely sold on Parham and believe that there are multiple other prospects in the XFL that are worth a look for NFL teams.

Overall the XFL has been a huge success, far surpassing what I ever imagined. I look forward to the rest of the season and will be saying my prayers every night that the Chiefs sign Parham.

Go XFL and Go Chiefs!
