WHAT DID WE LEARN ABOUT THE CHIEFS?

We learned that the Kansas City Chiefs are the freaking two seed in the playoffs, baby! That’s what we learned!

More from Kansas City Chiefs

No, but for real, the Chiefs are the best team in the division by a long shot and it’ll be a long while before any of the other three teams can catch up to what Kansas City is doing. The Chargers need to figure out their quarterback situation, the same could be said for the Raiders, and the Broncos need to continue testing Lock to see if he’s the guy in Denver.

The Chiefs didn’t play a crisp game against the Chargers, but still won by double digit points in spite of that. That’s what good teams do; Win on days when they don’t necessarily deserve to win.

We’ll continue to learn more about the Chiefs as the playoffs begin this weekend, but thanks to the Dolphins, our Chiefs will have the week off. They’ll more than likely await the New England Patriots for the Divisional Round, which will be played at Arrowhead.

While the Chiefs haven’t been successful in the playoffs for nearly all of the 2010s, it’s the 2020s now, and that paves the way for a new chapter to be written with this team and their playoff success. With the defense revamped and looking juiced, the offense having the best quarterback in the league, and special teams getting back to their dominance, don’t count out the Chiefs to make a legitimate run to the Super Bowl this year.

Let’s freaking go.
