KC Chiefs: What we learned about each team in AFC West after week 14
The KC Chiefs won the AFC West for the fourth straight year and that’s pretty exciting! This means the Chiefs have now made it to the playoffs five straight years and in six of Andy Reid’s seven years as the Chiefs head coach.
Andy Reid has made a huge difference in Kansas City, as this organization had never won their division four times in a row. Reid has kept them relevant every year he’s been in town.

Before I sign off, let’s take a look at the divisional standings, even though the Chiefs have clinched the AFC West.
- Kansas City Chiefs (9-4)*
- Oakland Raiders (6-7)
- Denver Broncos (5-8)
- Los Angeles Chargers (5-8)
The Chiefs are the only team with a winning record in the division, but that wasn’t the case a few weeks ago. Oakland has imploded since they went over .500, dropping three straight games and being blown out in all three of them.
While the divisional games aren’t nearly as important moving forward, we all want the Kansas City Chiefs to finish 6-0 in the AFC West!
Here’s to another division title! Go Chiefs!
