KC Chiefs: Four things to watch vs Los Angeles Chargers in week 11
Joey Bosa is a physical specimen and a dominant defensive end.
Drafted third overall in 2016, Joey Bosa has been force since entering the league. Now in his fourth season, Bosa ranks inside the top ten among defensive linemen in sacks (7th) since 2016 with thirty seven total.
He currently trails players such as Aaron Donald, Chandler Jones, and Khalil Mack, which puts him in pretty good company. This season Bosa is second in the league among defensive linemen in sacks with eight and a half, trailing Myles Garrett by one and a half.
Joey Bosa will be playing his fifth game against the Kansas City Chiefs during his career for the Chargers. Over the first four match-ups he has played against KC, he has accumulated 16 total tackles, two sacks, and four tackles for loss. The Chiefs have managed to keep Bosa quiet for the most part of his prior match-ups, but that might not be the case this week with a banged up offensive line.
Slowing the pass rush and keeping Mahomes healthy and upright allowing him to attack and be a play maker as always starts with slowing down the Chargers best pass rusher. You can look for Andy Reid to add extra protection to whichever side Bosa will be coming from to keep him away from the play.
