If the Los Angeles Chargers move to London, the NFL will have to change its ways, and that starts with realigning its current divisions.

And that means the Kansas City Chiefs will lose one of its oldest rivals. But in each of the four scenarios I put out there, the Chiefs get (or regain) a great new rivalry.

More from Kansas City Chiefs

To recap, in the first scenario, the Houston Texans and Deshaun Watson join the AFC West. In the second, its the Arizona Cardinals and Kyler Murray, which may not sound that exciting right now, but Murray is playing well and should continue to progress as a pro.

In the third, it’s the Minnesota Vikings, which seems like an odd fit, but, at least according to the league’s current geography, is one of the better scenarios.

And in the fourth, where the NFL blows it up and rebuilds itself from the ground up, the Kansas City Chiefs not only maintain its rivalries with the Raiders and Broncos but get back to facing the Seahawks twice every season.

Which is all to say, it’s going to be fascinating to see what the NFL does if the Chargers flame out as L.A.’s second son and move into the Greenwich Time Zone.

Personally, I can’t wait.
