There really wasn’t a lot to nitpick about in this 26-23 last second win by the KC Chiefs.

The Chiefs needed to avoid going 0-2 without Patrick Mahomes and they went 1-1 without him. While it’s not 100% a given that he’ll be back next week, at least now the Chiefs know they can win without him. Going toe-to-toe with the Packers last week wasn’t a fluke and we know that now.

More from Kansas City Chiefs

The most disappointing part of this game was definitely the play of the offensive line, who surrendered five sacks on Matt Moore. Cameron Erving is not the answer moving forward and Brett Veach definitely needs to address the o-line this offseason. Once Fisher is back, thing will be better, but Erving is not capable of being a starter.

This was a HUGE win by the Kansas City Chiefs and we owe a lot of that to Harrison Butker, who knocked through all six kicks (four field goals and two extra point attempts), including the game winner in the final seconds. Butker is to thank for this game, but almost everyone did their part when asked to step up to the plate.

Next up for the KC Chiefs is a date with the Tennessee Titans in Nashville next weekend. The Titans have had Kansas City’s number throughout the years, but hopefully Mahomes will be back under center and this Chiefs team will get back to cruising offensively.
