As mentioned earlier, the Oakland Raiders were on a bye this week, so we didn’t learn anything new about them. We did learn quite a bit about the other three teams in the division though.

No one is out of it yet in the AFC West. The entire AFC as a whole – sans the Patriots – isn’t all that impressive and just about anyone could sneak into the playoffs at this point.

More from Kansas City Chiefs

The Kansas City Chiefs are still the team to beat, but they look as vulnerable as ever lately. Mahomes is beat up and the offensive line can’t seem to protect him. That’s concerning going against a Broncos team that sacked the quarterback(s) seven times over the weekend.

Speaking of the Broncos, they have their confidence back after going 2-0 in October. If they can pull off the upset on Thursday night, they’d be a game back in the division and that’d be quite the comeback for a team that looked dead in the water in the first month of the season.

As for the Chargers, something’s off there. They were down 24 points heading into the fourth quarter and while they made a game of it late, it wasn’t enough to undo the damage they had allowed in the first three quarters of the game.

Next. Winners and Losers from Week 6 Loss to Texans. dark

Let’s take a look at the standings:

  1. Kansas City Chiefs (4-2)
  2. Oakland Raiders (3-2)
  3. Denver Broncos (2-4)
  4. Los Angeles Chargers (2-4)

Just like we all thought it’d look like six weeks into the season, right?
