LOSER: RUN DEFENSE

Do I need to go into detail? They surrendered nearly 200 yards on the ground and made Carlos Hyde, a guy who used to be on this team and we know isn’t all that great, look good. Hyde rushed for 116 yards and definitely was out for revenge in this one. The blue print is out on how to beat the Chiefs, folks, and it’s to run the ball down KC’s throat because we all know they can’t stop it.

LOSER: RUN GAME

Do the Chiefs even have a run game? They only accounted for 53 yards and ran the ball just 11 times. There’s talent in this back field, which is why I don’t understand the lack of sticking to the run or at least utilizing it more often. LeSean McCoy had 44 yards off of eight carries and the rest didn’t do much of anything, but the opportunities weren’t really there.

LOSER: PASS RUSH

This organization paid a lot of money to have Frank Clark in a Chiefs uniform and he has not helped the pass rush at all. The Texans offensive line lost a player due to injury yet the Chiefs couldn’t capitalize and get after Deshaun Watson. The Texans quarterback went virtually untouched in this one and it’s become glaringly obvious that this pass rush is weak.
