The KC Chiefs had a game truly come down to the final minute for the first time this season and they reigned supreme, thanks to Patrick Mahomes and that successful drive at the end of the game.

More from Kansas City Chiefs

Even in a game where the Chiefs didn’t have a passing touchdown, they still put up 34 points and won the game. This was against a good Lions team and on the road nonetheless.

The run game stepped up, the pass rush hit Stafford throughout the day, and were it not for three ugly fumbles, the Chiefs probably would have won big.

We all thought Mahomes would have a big day in a dome, but that wasn’t the case. He did, however, lead a huge drive and was the quarterback we all expected him to be, even without the gaudy numbers.

Getting to 4-0 is no easy task, but the Kansas City Chiefs did so and it’s a good thing too, because the Chargers and Raiders both won on Sunday. This win by KC still gives them a two-game lead in the division heading into week five.
