This game wasn’t all positive, but the Kansas City Chiefs walked out of Arrowhead Stadium with their third victory of the year and their first home win of the season. That’s huge for a team with Super Bowl aspirations.

More from Kansas City Chiefs

The Chiefs continue to look good on the offensive side of the ball even without Tyreek Hill. Mecole Hardman is looking as good as advertised, Travis Kelce isn’t being discussed as much, but is still dealing, and Sammy Watkins continues to do well despite getting a lot of the attention from the defense.

The run game needed to bounce back after a poor outing last week and they did just that, tallying over 100 yards on the ground. LeSean McCoy was a factor in both the run game and the receiving game and the Chiefs needed that elusiveness from Shady in a big match-up.

The defense wasn’t great, but they made plays when they needed to. They didn’t force any turnovers, but they sacked Lamar Jackson three times and were getting after him. He’s a tough guy to bring down.

Next up for the Chiefs are the Detroit Lions, who also should have been 3-0, but had a boneheaded tie in week one. They shocked the Eagles in Philly and will be riding high heading home to Detroit to host the most explosive offense in football in week four.

3-0 feels good, baby.
