Any time the Kansas City Chiefs can win an AFC West battle, that’s a good thing for sure. They looked shaky against the Raiders early on, but flipped the script as soon as the second quarter began.

More from Kansas City Chiefs

The Raiders appeared to be a sneaky team coming into this one, but the Chiefs did what they were supposed to do, which was beat the stuffing out of them. They scored four touchdowns, all in the second quarter, and never looked back.

The defense looked good in the second half, shutting out the Raiders offense while also picking off Carr twice and sacking him thrice. It was an impressive effort after barely sniffing the quarterback last week in Jacksonville.

Next up will be a true test for the Kansas City Chiefs, but fortunately, they’re returning to the wonderful confines of Arrowhead Stadium for their home opener. The Baltimore Ravens will be bringing it, but the Chiefs showed this week that even after a slow start, they can get the ball rolling and dominate.
