LOSER: RUN GAME

Did the Chiefs run the ball at all on Sunday? The answer is, yes they did, but not much. Kansas City ran the ball 22 times for a measly 31 yards.

LeSean McCoy led the way with 11 carries for 23 yards while Damien Williams had nine carries for just eight yards. Rookie Darwin Thompson had one carry for one yard.

While running the ball doesn’t seem to be all that important for the Chiefs right now, that will change as the games get more meaningful and the opponents get tougher. They’ll eventually figure out how to slow down Patrick Mahomes and the passing game and that’ll be when the run game will need to figure things out.

For now, it doesn’t seem to matter, but as early as next week, it could definitely play a bigger role.

LOSER: FRANK CLARK

For the second straight week, Frank Clark failed to record a sack. He’s getting paid a lot of money to get after the quarterback and now Kendall Fuller has more sacks than Clark. Not ideal.

LOSER: ALL THE PENALTIES

The Chiefs were penalized ten times in this game and while there isn’t a whole lot more to say on that, that’s something they need to improve on. That could cost them later in the season.
